The palette

Three dark blues, three light tones, one warm glow

Moonlight is built from four families that work together: a light family for text, a dark family for backgrounds, a warm accent for focus, and a handful of frills for everything in between. Click any swatch to copy its hex.

Where it came from

It started with a set of keycaps

One day a set of Moonlight GMK keycaps caught my eye, and that was it — I was in love with the colors. What followed was a handful of wallpapers, then a theme for one app, then another, until the colors had a name and a story of their own: Moonlight.

Every color was picked with care for contrast, coordination, and how easy it is to stare at for eight hours straight. It's the kind of palette you'd want with you on a quiet camping trip under a clear sky.
